ABOUT
"They helped define trance. Now they’re reshaping it — with soul, silence and story".
Mark Norman isn’t just a name — it’s a fingerprint on the DNA of modern electronic music. Formed by Norman Lenden and Mark de Jong, the Dutch duo carved out their own cinematic space in the global trance movement. From the genre-defying Phantom Manor and Touchdown to the timeless Colour My Eyes, their tracks didn’t just fill dancefloors — they stayed with people.
With releases on Tiësto’s Magik Muzik, international tours across 24 countries, and remixes for icons like BT, Oakenfold and Don Diablo, Mark Norman became one of the most respected live and studio acts of their era. They won awards, played concert halls with orchestras, and helped shift trance into widescreen territory. But legacy isn’t the point — evolution is.
Today, Mark Norman is entering a new phase. While the original collaboration remains alive, it’s Norman Lenden who now steers the creative vision. The sound is deeper, more analogue, intentionally atmospheric. The mission: to move beyond just energy — and into emotion, memory, and meaning.
At the core of this evolution is Club NIX — not just a podcast or party, but a global undercurrent where electronic music meets storytelling, raw textures, and community. It’s a space to get lost, to dance without phones, and to reconnect with the why behind the music.
Recent highlights include a haunting rework of Xpander, and the powerful original Lost Without You together with Berlin Based Amber Revival. Their latest single Chasing the Sun (Magik Muzik) marks a return to form — but also a shift in tone. With early support from Cosmic Gate, Solarstone, Ton TB (Three Drives) and Jeffrey Sutorius (Dash Berlin), the message is clear:
Mark Norman isn’t making a comeback. They’re moving forward — with no map, no formula, and everything to say.

Legacy Tracks & Remixes
Some tracks fill floors. These rewrote them. For over two decades, Mark Norman has delivered trance that didn’t follow formulas — it bent them. From haunting mainstage anthems to cinematic edits that still ripple through playlists, these are the cuts that left a mark:
Phantom Manor
A ghost in the machine. Dark, driving and unforgettable — this 2004 classic is still whispered in greenrooms and chill-out zones. Played recently bij Ki/KI
Colour My Eyes (ft. Celine Frewer)
Featured on In Search of Sunrise 5, this vocal gem fused melody with melancholy and became a defining moment in melodic trance.
Touchdown / Overkill
Raw energy from the Magik Muzik vaults. Proof that trance doesn’t need fluff to hit hard.
🔁 Remixes that mattered
Tiësto feat. BT – Love Comes Again (Mark Norman Remix)
Took a pop-trance anthem and gave it emotional weight. A set-staple for years.
Three Drives – Greece 2000 (Mark Norman Remix)
A tasteful rework of a trance anthem — deeper, darker, and totally dancefloor-ready.
BT – Somnambulist
Industrial meets orchestral. A remix that walked the line between dream and drive.
Signum – First Strike
One of the first, still one of the fiercest. This one separated fans from followers.
From vinyl to virtual crates, Mark Norman’s full discography spans two decades — with releases on Magik Muzik, Armada, and beyond. For a complete list of official tracks, remixes and appearances:
